Access to Gleeble data is a true competitive advantage for many organizations. Experts in industry and academia alike understand the value of simulation data. Unfortunately, not every research lab has access to a Gleeble system, or their system may be fully utilized. In these cases DSI can offer several solutions to help provide provide Gleeble research results.

Academic Collaborations

The Gleeble community consists of world-renowned researchers at leading research institutions around the globe. DSI is able to connect you with university partners that have the equipment and expertise necessary to support your research goals.

Contract Testing at DSI

DSI offers contract testing as a service. DSI staff has expertise on Gleeble’s applications to support a wide range of metallurgical investigations. Our staff works with customers to evaluate their needs, design an experimental matrix, and execute physical simulations on the client’s material. DSI has access to most of the equipment listed in this catalog, plus access to cutting edge pre-commercial testing kits. DSI limits contract testing services to Gleeble testing with minimal post-test analyses such as microscopy.

Partner Laboratories

For customers that require deeper investigations, where Gleeble testing is only a portion of the analysis required, we can suggest partnering with a research laboratory that can provide additional services. The DSI team will work with the customer and the research lab to deliver actionable results. In these cases, Gleeble testing may be conducted by DSI at our facility and then specimens and data are shared with the team for analysis.
