The 37500 General-Purpose MCU - Pocket Jaw Rotation Kit contains the parts necessary to rotate the pocket jaws 90 degrees. After rotating the specimens, the face of the specimen will now be parallel to the vacuum tank doors. When used with standard grips devices such as DIC cameras, optical micrometers, pyrometers, or lasers will have a direct line of sight to the flat plane of the specimen. Viewing angles can be from either the front or back door vacuum tank windows.

Every Gleeble system (or each MCU supplied) includes at least one vacuum tank door piston. The size of the vacuum tank piston will vary depending on the type of Gleeble System or MCU. New designs have been introduced, improving performance and ease of use. These new designs are included in the model numbers below:

Model 32752: A new design with improved damping and longer durability, these replace the existing door springs on the following vacuum tanks: General Purpose MCU, Hydrawedge MCU, MAXStrain MCU, and 3180. Must have new spring mounts. (See 32753 and 32754 for upgrade kits)

Model 32753: Upgrade Kit for Damped Vacuum Tank Front Door Spring: Kit includes one (1) spring with mounts for the vacuum tank front door on the following vacuum tanks: General Purpose MCU, Hydrawedge MCU, MAXStrain MCU, and 3180.
