22.1. 3000 Series¶

22.1.1. Silicon Two-Color Pyrometer¶
The 37015 Pyrometer series of two-color pyrometers provide a method for non-contact temperature measurement and control on Gleeble systems. The 37015 series pyrometers use two silicon detectors in the pyrometer camera. The camera features an optical laser for easy alignment and sighting of the measurement location on the specimen. The camera can be switched to one-color mode for operation as a standard radiation pyrometer.
Each model of the 37015 series pyrometer includes all required mounting brackets and hardware.

22.1.2. InGaAs Two-Color Pyrometer¶
The 37017 Pyrometer series of two-color pyrometers provide a method for non-contact temperature measurement and control on Gleeble systems. By using 2 InGaAs detectors, the 37017 series provides a wider operating range than pyrometers equipped with silicon detectors. The camera features an optical laser for easy alignment and sighting of the measurement location on the specimen. The camera can be switched to one-color mode for operation as a standard radiation pyrometer.
Each model of the 37017 series pyrometer includes all required mounting brackets and hardware.

22.2.1. Silicon Two-Color Pyrometer for Gleeble 500 Series¶
The 500 Series Silicon Two-Color Pyrometers provide a method for non-contact temperature measurement and control on Gleeble 563 and 540 systems. These pyrometers use two silicon detectors in the pyrometer camera. The camera features an optical laser for easy alignment and sighting of the measurement location on the specimen. All programming of the pyrometer can be achieved through the integrated Gleeble Tech Support web page of every Gleeble System. Emissivity changes, selecting color modes, and creation of unique emissivity profiles are all achievable with the new Gleeble control environment.

The 57001 Pyrometer Mounting Kit is designed specifically for use on Gleeble 563 and 540 systems. This kit includes all mounting and installation hardware needed to correctly install a 500 Series Silicon Two-Color Pyrometer for Gleeble 500 Series or InGaAs Two-Color Pyrometer for Gleeble 500 Series. A Pyrometer is not included in the 57001 kit.
